Columbia University Global Health Book Drive
Join Columbia University Global Health in their literacy initiative by donating used books to the Books for Africa book drive, Dec. 14-23. Global Health is partnering with the BetterWorldBooks organization, whose mission is to promote literacy by collecting used books and textbooks to fund high-impact literacy projects across the world. Book drive boxes will be located in the following residence halls: Shapiro, Broadway, East Campus, McBain, Hartley and Ruggles. For more information, visit the Housing website.
Donate Your Computer to CUIT
Donate your unwanted, working computers to a good cause. CUIT will be accepting computer donations from Dec. 14, 2009 through Jan. 22, 2010 (Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) at 202 Philosophy Hall, the CUIT Helpdesk Service Center.
