Columbia University Alumni recovers laptop thanks to Public Safety's Operation ID Program
Public Safety Operations received a call from a good Samarian reporting that he had found a laptop in a park near West 23rd Street. The Samarian noticed the engraving (Police ID Number) and the CU / NYPD sticker on the laptop and immediately notified CU Public Safety Operations. The owner was notified & reunited with his laptop.

Student recovers his lost laptop thanks to a Public Safety Safe Haven in the Manhattanville community
Many thanks to Store Clerk "Mo" of Safe Haven: Bahamas Deli Market located on Broadway & LaSalle Street who found and safeguarded a student's laptop which was left in his store. The student was not sure where he left it at, he remembered stopping at a store before going home. Public Safety called the local Safe Havens in the community and found that the laptop was left in the store. The student was jumping for joy when he received the call from us stating that we found his laptop. Not only did he get back his laptop but all his important information in it.
