Are you ready for Earth Week 2011? Check out these activities:

  • Monday April 18th 2011 - Unlimitted Shredding on College Walk
    West 116 Street, between Broadway & Amsterdam Avenue
    9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.


    Shredding is an outstanding tool to use against Identity theft. Bring all your old credit card, bank statements as well as your office documents that need to be shredded. All paper shredded will be recycled by Code Shred which is also great for the environment.
  • Tuesday April 19th 2011- Bike to Campus Day
    Low Plaza 
    10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.


    Want to escape from the crowds and heat in the subway or the hassles of finding a parking spot? Bike to campus! Bicycling is one of the most healthy, economical, fun and environmentally friendly ways to commute. Free Bike Tune Ups & Bike Registration. Discount bike Locks and accessories.

    Have an old bike collecting dust?  Donate it to a great cause! Recycle A Bicycle - a community based bike shop and non-profit organization that encourages environmental stewardship and every day bicycle use - will be accepting bike donations.  For more information on donating your bike, please visit http://www.recycleabicycle.org/
