FREE Laptop & Small Electronics Engraving Today

Dear Public Safety Friends,

Public Safety Crime Prevention will be engraving laptops & other electronics in the lobby of Butler Library today between 11A - 2P.

Operation ID is an effective tool used by the NYPD to identify lost & stolen property. This program is FREE & EFFECTIVE.

Also available will be:

  • NYPD Blue Light - Invisible ink, ideal for cell phones & small electronics. This is a new tool used by the police to identify stolen cell phones being sold as use in electronic stores. With a special police light the police can identify who the phone belongs to. 
  • Bike registration - FREE & EFFECTIVE a unique number is engraved on the bike and a non removable police sticker placed on the bike.
