Public Safety Crime Prevention will be engraving and registering laptops and other electronic devices on Monday, September 22nd, 11AM-2PM in the lobby of the SIPA bldg near the "Fish Bowl".
Public Safety will also install Mac Phone Home (Stolen Laptop recovery program) for MAC users, and PC Phone Home for Vista. Both programs are FREE and proven effective.
Windows users can still down load PC Phone Home from the CUIT Web site: www.columbia.edu/acis/software/pcphonehome
Please follow the instructions before down loading, including recording your computer's serial number and keeping it in a safe place.
Discount laptop locks will also be available.
