Dear Public Safety Friends,

It's America's Night Out Against Crime!

The "27th Annual National Night Out" (NNO), a unique crime/drug prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW) and the New York City Police Department has been scheduled for Tuesday, August 3, 2010.

 NATIONAL NIGHT OUT is designed to:

  • Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness
  • Generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs
  • Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships
  • Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back

The following NYPD Precints surrounding the Columbia Community will be holding their National Night Out Against Crime at the following locations:

  • 24th Pct - Amsterdam Ave & West 98 Street at 6pm--9pm
  • 26th Pct - West 122nd Street & Claremont Ave / Riverside Drive at 6pm--9pm
  • 33rd Pct - West 167 Street & Edgecombe Ave at 6pm--9pm
  • 34th Pct - Anne Loftus Play Ground, Broadway and Riverside Drive adjacent to Dyckman Street at 3pm--7pm
  • Transit District 3 at St. Nicholas Ave & West 145 Street at 6pm--9pm
