On Wednesday September 4th, CU Public Safety hosted Security Awareness Day for the Morningside Campus at Low Plaza. The event provided members of the University community the opportunity to speak with crime prevention professionals from Public Safety and the NYPD, join effective crime prevention programs for bikes and electronics, and purchase discounted locks for bikes and computer security; 129 electronic devices and 41 bikes were engraved and registered CU Public Safety and the NYPD; participants also received free bike tune ups and accessories as well as free computer recovery software.
