Bookstore Features Harlem Local Vendor at First Ever Holiday Market Event

In partnership with the Harlem Local Vendor Program, local retailer, NiLu has been invited to participate in the Columbia University bookstore’s first ever holiday market event.

December 06, 2018

NiLu, which sells gifts, home décor and crafts from local Harlem artists, will sell goods December 6-8th during the following hours: Thursday-Friday, 10:30am-8pm and Saturday, 11am-6pm. Some of the highlights include candles from The 125 Collection and Harlem Candle Company, NiLu brand magnets, pillows, pins, and coasters, Sol Cacao chocolates, artwork by AFineLyne, and more. Faculty, staff, students, and neighbors are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to support our local community and discover unique holiday gifts.

The bookstore will also host their annual Appreciation Sale December 5-7 during which shoppers will enjoy a 25% discount on all merchandise. This discount does not apply to the NiLu holiday market items. The Columbia University bookstore is located at 2922 Broadway, in Lerner Hall.

The Harlem Local Vendor Program is designed to provide local Harlem vendors with the opportunity to more broadly showcase their products and receive professional guidance from industry experts. Learn more about Columbia’s partnership with the Harlem Local Vendor Program.
