Columbia University Donates New Printers to Local Organizations

October 10, 2022

Columbia University recently donated new HP all-in-one printers to 20 non-profit organizations in Harlem and the surrounding community.

In partnership with Columbia University's Central Purchasing, Columbia's Facilities and Operation's Construction Business Initiatives (CBI) identified and coordinated the delivery of printers with a complimentary three-year service warranty – obtained through Columbia’s relationship with Hewlett-Packard – for each non-profit organization. Among others, organizations that received a printer donation included a youth community center, a senior home, and a performing arts center all based in Harlem or Northern Manhattan. This is the third time that Columbia distributed new printers to non-profit organizations in the local community and is one of many ways that the University uses its resources to support local organizations.

“Thank you to our friends at Columbia University for this generous gift that will help us increase efficiency in our daily operations as we work to provide services that help local seniors remain healthy and active,” said Ilana Dunner, executive director for the Riverstone Senior Life Services.
