Columbia University Completes Full Renovation of Low Plaza

First Major Restoration of Plaza Since the Campus’s Original Construction

Columbia University Facilities and Operations Human Resources (CUFO HR) coordinated a week-long series of professional development workshops this summer available to all CUFO employees.

Columbia University’s new all-electric undergraduate residence hall, 611 W. 112th Street, earned two Merit Awards from Engineering News-Record (ENR) New York in the Renovation/Restoration and Sustainability categories. 

Columbia University’s first all-electric residence hall at 611 W. 112th Street was awarded LEED® Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), marking the University’s first residence hall to receive LEED recognition.
