Campus shuttle system will transition to electric buses, reducing emissions by 70%
Columbia’s Zagster bike share program has expanded to the Manhattanville campus.
Beginning this October, the University will introduce a commuter pilot program offering Columbia staff, faculty, and students direct shuttle bus service between Teaneck, NJ and the Manhattanville and Morningside Heights campuses.
Recent upgrades to the Public Safety Evening Shuttle will make it easier and safer for students, faculty and staff to get around campus neighborhoods at night.
On the heels of being named a Bike Friendly University, Columbia was also recognized as a Bicycle Friendly Business by the League of American Bicyclists for encouraging a more welcoming atmosphere for its bicycling community.
