On September 14, 2011, Columbia University welcomed minority- women- and locally-owned architecture firms to campus at an information session designed to introduce the firms to key University decision makers and to explain the process of working on University capital projects. Representatives from the University's Capital Project Management, Manhattanville Development and Medical Center teams, as well as the City's Department of Small Business Services, presented to the firms.
