Facilities and Operations Hosts Career Fair for Local Residents

Columbia University Facilities and Operations (CUFO) hosted a career fair to recruit diverse talent at its Morningside campus on January 11. Over 100 members from the local community attended, where they learned about the various roles available within Facilities and Operations and met one-on-one with hiring managers.  

Open positions promoted at the career fair ranged across disciplines including dining cooks, residential building staff, cleaners, A/V manager for events, HVAC specialists  and more.  

CUFO supports the core educational and research mission of the University by managing building design and construction, operations and maintenance of buildings and grounds, campus public safety, residential and retail dining, apartment housing and residence halls, event catering and venue management, printing and mailing services, transportation, and University-wide sustainability initiatives.
