Manhattanville Market, a new multi-concept food hall developed by renowned Chef Franklin Becker has opened in the Jerome L. Greene Science Center at Columbia’s Manhattanville campus.
The food hall includes Chef Chris Scott’s Butterfunk Biscuit for biscuit sandwiches, and three restaurants from Chef Becker: Benny Casanova’s, specializing in Sicilian pizza; Shai Hummusiya, serving Mediterranean and Israeli cuisine; and The Botanist, offering salads made from greens grown on site. Oliva, a full-service tapas restaurant, will open on the upper level in the fall.
Manhattanville Market will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for takeout, delivery, and indoor and outdoor dining. In celebration of its grand opening, Manhattanville Market is extending a 15 percent discount through Labor Day to Columbia students, faculty, and staff with valid ID.
