On Wednesday, September 5, 2018, Public Safety again hosted Security Awareness Day & Ride Your Bike to Campus Day for the Columbia community, on Low Plaza.
At this recurring event, Public Safety offers services to help our faculty, staff and students stay safe and secure:
- Free bike registration with CU Public Safety and the NYPD
- Free bike tune-ups with registration
- Free electronic tattoos for laptops, tablets, cell phones, and other electronic devices
- Discount bike locks and accessories.
- Meet NYPD and Public Safety specialists for tips on personal/home and apartment safety.
- Meet Fire Safety Specialists from the FDNY and Columbia
