The Uptown Night Market is back in West Harlem – and held weekly for a limited time.
The food and culture festival will take place each Thursday from May 8 through June 12 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. at space provided by Columbia University at the former Fairway parking lot at West 132nd Street and 12th Avenue. The event continues monthly on the second Thursday of each month under the arches on 12th Avenue - July 10, August 14, September 11, and October 9.
Featuring over 40 local vendors, the weekly event will offer a wide array of global street food, artisanal goods, and live music and entertainment. The event will also be alcohol-free in accordance with Community Board guidelines.
Originally established in 2021 by MASC Hospitality Group with support from the West Harlem Development Corporation, the Uptown Night Market has attracted thousands of attendees and has helped support small businesses. MASC Hospitality Group has produced other open-air food markets and food festivals including the Bronx Night Market and New York Latin Food Festival.
