e’s BAR, an upscale, casual bar and restaurant, is the latest Columbia University retail tenant to be opening its door. Patrons can visit e’s BAR this evening in celebrating the opening of its new Morningside Heights location from 5:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. The opening marks the second location of e’s BAR, joining the original on the Upper West Side.
At its new location at 2888 Broadway (between 112th and 113th Streets), e’s BAR has an extensive bar and menu that includes a grass-fed burger, fish tacos, falafel burger, mac-n-cheese balls, and gluten-free and vegetarian options. e’s BAR features a rotating seasonal wines-by-the-glass list and a monthly charity cocktail that donates 10 percent of gross sales of the cocktail to charity. Food delivery service will also be available.
Similar to its Upper West Side location, e’s BAR has an assortment of board games to play, a jukebox featuring music from 1960 to 1999, and open mic and trivia nights.
The opening of e’s BAR continues Columbia University’s long-standing retail approach which favors businesses that bring a variety of amenities and experiences to the diverse Columbia community and surrounding community. The new e’s BAR joins University Hardware and Housewares, Sliced, Elysian Fields Café, and H-Mart as other Columbia University retail tenants to have opened or signed in the Morningside Heights neighborhood this year.
