On August 26th and August 27th, employees from various Facilities departments helped welcome nearly 1,300 first-year students during this year's moved-in period on campus. Campus Operations set up outdoor space, including preparation for the annual convocation ceremony on South Lawn; Residential Operations worked throughout the summer to prepare dorms for fall occupancy, revamp the interior of Wallach Hall and renovate the lounges in Carman, John Jay, and Furnald; and Public Safety assisted with the security, traffic control and parking on College Walk and the surrounding streets.
