This innovative program pairs the Columbia University Department of Public Safety with civic-minded area businesses to provide emergency assistance to all members of our community.
CU Public Safety has registered and screened over 120 businesses proximate to the Morningside, Medical Center & Manhattanville campuses. In the event of an emergency or threat, these merchants agree to allow the community member to wait in their establishments and will notify Public Safety and the NYPD.
