Columbia University Donates Lockers to Local Boarding School for Boys

Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism donated 58 sets of double lockers that were being replaced to Lincoln Hall, a Westchester-based non-profit boarding school for at-risk boys committed to helping youth and their families meet academic, behavioral, and employment goals.

The donated lockers allowed Lincoln Hall to replace decades-old lockers that have been in need of replacement for quite some time. 

Columbia University’s ReUse Program supports Columbia’s commitment to environmental and fiscal sustainability by minimizing waste and diverting reusable items to local non-profit organizations. In collaboration with Facilities and Operations and other university partners, the ReUse Program has facilitated the exchange or donation of University-owned furniture and other items including used bikes, yoga mats, and stoves
