Softside, an independent soft-serve ice cream parlor, has opened within Upside Pizza in Morningside Heights.
Located at 2878A Broadway adjacent to Upside Pizza, its parent brand, Softside features classic soft-serve ice cream flavors and an assortment of toppings including rainbow sprinkles, salted caramel, brownie bites, and Oreos. In addition to cups and cones, Softside offers sundaes and milkshakes.
The opening of Softside follows Columbia University's long-standing retail approach which favors businesses that bring a variety of amenities and experiences to the diverse Columbia community and surrounding community.
Softside joins several other businesses that have recently opened in Columbia buildings in Morningside Heights and Manhattanville including Upside Pizza, Haji’s Deli, HIIT The Deck, Method Collective, and YES.
