Blue Bottle Coffee Opens New Location in Morningside Heights

Blue Bottle Coffee is the latest Columbia retail tenant to join the Morningside Heights neighborhood, opening a new location at 2901 Broadway (between 113th and 114th Streets).

The new Blue Bottle Coffee location celebrated its grand opening on October 31, featuring a full menu and their Acacia Honey Latte during the day from 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. For every beverage purchased during its October 31 grand opening, Blue Bottle Coffee donated $1 towards Conservation International’s reforestation projects.  The café will be open daily between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Blue Bottle Coffee is known for its commitment to sourcing and roasting the best coffee available, made possible through strong relationships with coffee farmers worldwide and a professional roastery team specializing in green coffee. At its new location, Blue Bottle Coffee will serve drinks including single origins, pour over, espresso, New Orleans Iced Coffee, Cold Brew and Cascara Fizz. A suite of culinary offerings will also be offered to pair with coffee, including pastries and viennoiserie from Bouchon Bakery

Blue Bottle operates cafes popular in other university neighborhoods such as Harvard, MIT, Georgetown and NYU, and in select cities in the United States and Asia.  The location at 2901 Broadway in Morningside Heights will join 16 other locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

The opening of Blue Bottle Coffee continues Columbia University’s long-standing retail approach which favors businesses that bring a variety of amenities and experiences to the diverse Columbia community and surrounding community. Blue Bottle Coffee joins several other businesses that have recently opened or signed leases in Columbia buildings in Morningside Heights and Manhattanville, including Hex & Co., Dear Mama CoffeeDos Torosthe ExpatElysian Fields Café, and Wu and Nussbaum.
