Columbia Residential has added Amazon Lockers to 39 of its buildings, offering the students, faculty, and staff who live in these buildings a convenient and secure option for Amazon deliveries. 

Due to recent high winds and precipitation, Facilities and Operations and professional arborists surveyed trees along College Walk out of an abundance of caution. As a result of the assessment, the arborist recommended that several trees be removed for safety concerns due to the trees' declining health, including trunk decay and other irreversible conditions.

The Lee C. Bollinger Forum and Columbia University Facilities and Operations Construction and Business Initiatives partnered with SoHarlem to bring local, creative entrepreneurs to the Manhattanville campus for a holiday market from December 18 to January 3.

Columbia University is enhancing its retail portfolio offerings in Morningside Heights with the lease signing of South of the Clouds, a Yunnan-inspired Chinese noodle and fusion restaurant.

Tanya Pope, assistant vice president of University Supplier Diversity, has been selected by New York City Mayor Adams to join the city’s Minority-and-Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) Advisory Council. Chaired by NYC’s Chief Business Diversity Officer Michael J. Garner, the council will provide strategic guidance on creating more diverse contracting opportunities to ensure growth for MWBEs.

Haji’s, a new deli and juice bar, is the latest Columbia University retail tenant to open its doors.

Columbia University served as presenting sponsor of  the Association of Medical Facility Professionals' (AMFP) Third Annual Turning the Tables MWBE Healthcare Expo on October 29, highlighting the University’s commitment to supporting the growth of minority-, woman- and locally owned (MWL) businesses.
