As a reminder, NOW is the time to submit your project request particularly if it requires design services. Although September 1, 2018 was the deadline, we will continue to consider requests on a case-by-case basis until October 1. If your project does not require design services, the deadline is November 1, 2018.

Summer is always a busy period for Facilities and Operations. While construction occurs throughout the year, Facilities and Operations utilizes the summer months to complete a significant number of projects, many of which can only take place with the summer’s decreased campus population. Students and faculty returning to campus for the fall semester will notice many improvements across the Morningside campus.
During the summer of 2018, Facilities and Operations began constructing a permanent accessibility ramp to the west side of Hamilton Hall, connecting College Walk and Lower Campus. When completed, this permanent ramp will replace the temporary metal ramp that had been in place previously and improve access between residential and academic buildings.
