Sexual Violence Response's (SVR) Assistant Director of Training and Prevention Debjani Roy was interviewed last year for an article published in Women's Running magazine centered on reframing the conversation around run safety for women.

A Facilities and Operations supported pre-apprenticeship program designed to help minorities, women, and Upper Manhattan residents obtain union construction apprenticeships and opportunities in New York City graduated its third cohort of 20 students in a virtual ceremony on December 11.  

The reduced population on campus in light of the pandemic created an ideal opportunity for Campus Operations to perform work across the Morningside campus.

Departments within Columbia University Facilities and Operations joined together to deliver 150 pre-Thanksgiving meals to local senior citizens in Harlem on Tuesday, November 24.  

This fall, Facilities and Operations is performing a number of façade inspections and repair work to academic buildings on the Morningside campus in accordance with the NYC Department of Building’s Façade Inspection and Safety Program.
