The CU Grow Vendor Development program hosted its fourth and final procurement event of 2021, bringing together the program’s current 19 participating firms and alumni of the program to meet with project managers and procurement representatives from Columbia Facilities & Operations and partner organizations to discuss potential contracting opportunities and MWBE resources.

Oliva, a new tapas restaurant by celebrity Chef Franklin Becker, is the latest Columbia University retail tenant to join Columbia’s Manhattanville campus. Patrons can visit Oliva at the Jerome L. Greene Science Center (3229 Broadway at 130th Street) beginning Tuesday, September 28 for the restaurant’s grand opening.

In support of Columbia Community Service’s Fight Against Hunger, departments in Facilities and Operations participated in a move-a-thon from June 14 to July 2, with each person choosing their own method of movement or exercise, all to benefit local organizations fighting hunger.
